Scars from cuts on the forearms are not only an aesthetic problem, but also a psychologically significant problem that can significantly reduce the quality of life. Young people are especially often faced with such scars, and often difficult stages of life are hidden behind the scars, including stress or other episodes.

Regardless of the reasons, laser scar removal is a modern, scientifically proven and safe method that allows you to restore your skin to a more aesthetic appearance, and help regain confidence and inner peace.

Why is this important?

  • Scars on the forearms can cause unwanted attention from others.

  • They can interfere with personal, social and professional life.

  • Scar removal is not just a cosmetic procedure, but a step towards restoring quality of life.

Which method is the most effective?

Today, laser scar removal is recognized as the gold standard in the treatment of most types of scars.

Doctor Uskov's clinic uses modern medical lasers of all the main wavelengths necessary for effective work with various forms and phases of the scar process.

What affects the results?

The effectiveness of treatment depends on many factors, including:

  • Type of scar (atrophic, hypertrophic, normotrophic, or keloid),

  • Depth and density of scar tissue,

  • Stage of scar formation:

    • Active phase (up to 12 months) tends to yield better results,

    • Older scars require a more intensive and prolonged approach,

  • Patient’s age, hormonal balance, and metabolic rate,

  • Presence of concurrent skin or systemic conditions,

  • Whether the scar has been previously treated improperly, including with ineffective methods.

The type of combined-treatment used at Dr Uskov's clinic

In most cases, achieving a pronounced result requires a comprehensive course tailored to the individual patient, which includes:

  • Fractional non-ablative and ablative lasers,

  • Vascular lasers (e.g., PDL or Nd:YAG),

  • Carbon dioxide (CO₂) or erbium lasers,

  • If necessary — additional methods such as mesotherapy, PRP, pharmacological support, microneedling, and others.

All treatments are performed using certified premium-class equipment, under the supervision of a physician, and in accordance with international standards for scar treatment.

Why is it important not to delay treatment?

The earlier the treatment is started, the better the prognosis.

Fresh scars (up to 6-12 months) are more easily corrected, respond faster to therapy and require fewer procedures. However, old scars can also be improved - it will just require a more intensive course.

Safety is of utmost importance

Working with scar tissue requires a strong yet controlled approach. That is why at Dr. Uskov’s clinic:

  • Personalized treatment protocols are applied, tailored to the morphology of each individual scar,

  • Procedures are performed by physicians with clinical and dermatological experience, trained in the use of expert-level lasers.

Our goal is to achieve the maximum improvement in the structure and appearance of scars while minimizing the risk of complications such as pigmentation changes, hypertrophy, scar recurrence, and others.

Consultation as the first step

To prescribe an individual treatment protocol, an in-person consultation is required, during which the doctor will:

  • Conduct a visual examination of the scars;

  • If necessary, perform additional diagnostics such as:

    • Digital dermatoscopy

    • Examination with a UV-light

    • Infrared mapping

    • Ultrasound of the skin and subcutaneous tissue

    • Other diagnostic methods

A comprehensive assessment allows for a realistic prognosis and sometimes the treatment can begin immediately after the consultation.

Individual results

We do not make general promises. Each patient is unique. The speed, intensity and degree of improvement depend on many factors. But thanks to modern devices and our experience, we are able to achieve the best possible result in each specific case.
