What are acne scars?

Post-acne scars are the result of destruction of the skin structure after inflammatory acne elements. The most common types are:

However, old scars can also be significantly improved - you just need an intensive course and more procedures.

Diagnostics before treatment

Before creating a treatment plan, an in-person consultation is required, during which:

• The type, depth, and stage of the scars are assessed

If necessary, we will also perform:

• Digital dermatoscopy

• UV-light examination

• Infrared imaging

• Ultrasound of the skin and subcutaneous tissue.

This allows for an accurate determination of which methods will be most effective in your specific case.

How many procedures will be required?

As a rule, the treatment course includes 3-6 or more procedures, spaced 4-8 weeks apart. The number of sessions depends on:

• The number and depth of the scars,

• Their location (cheeks, chin, back, etc.),

• The patient’s age and skin type,
